I sometimes rate a place on their burgers, since i can't eat their whole menu. The burger here was well let's just say i gave this place one star. There was 3 other people with and they were not impressed.

It may be all smiles and sincerity on the outside but me and a friend went at about 3:10. We asked the waitress if it was happy hour and she said yes. We love the appetizers so we got a bunch of them thinking it was happy hour. They charged us full price even when we let them know that the waitress told us it was happy hour.

We had your average Applebee's experience. It is what I expect when I eat here. Decent food but overpriced. I have to say that I loved the brew pub style pretzels and cheese appetizer and their chicken fried steak was great.

We ate at the Great Falls Applebee's because it was getting late and it was close to our hotel. We had figured that it would be like any other Applebee's across the country but were disappointed. The service was poor . My steak wasn't ordered medium rare and came well done. My fiance' had ordered extra sauce on the side and it took almost a half hour to receive it , after asking twice for it. Her entree was cold by then. When back in Great Falls, Applebee's will not be on our list of places to return to.

I usually try to skip the "corporate" places, but stopped in last October, and enjoyed the place very much. I had a burger. Surprise!! Nice atmosphere, nice staff, beautiful view of the river, and the food was "delicious". As with most places, the people make the difference, and I will definitely come back for more. Check out the great pictures of old Great Falls hanging on the walls.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would ever give a 'corporate fun' place more than 2 stars... but when I got food poisoning 3 times in 4 weeks at other places around Great Falls I figured eating here was better than dying. I think that I was right.

Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.
Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Today, Applebee's serves at more than 1,830 locations worldwide. The Applebee's menu ranges from Appetizers and Salads to heavy meals consisting of ribs and steak.
